Call for Abstracts: Nordic Workshop on GI in Smart Cities: deadline 01/02/2012

Nordic Workshop on Big City GIS : First Nordic Workshop to explore the many uses of GIS for Big Cities, organised by GI NORDEN and GEOFORUM DENMARK

The objective is to provide an open and participatory forum for advancing the effective use of geographic information system technologies across the domains of Nordic big cities.

GI Norden would like to encourage the exchange of experience and information on successful examples within various fields of using GIS in support of Smart Cities as they aim to facilitate networking among Nordic practitioners on Smart City GIS.

The programme will primarily be based on submitted abstracts and will be launched primo March.
