All EUROGI members are represented in the General Board that elects the President and the Executive Committee. EUROGI has 5 Working & Advisory Groups, made up of members' members. A Director is appointed and an Executive Committee member acts as Convenor.
EUROGI currently has 24 members - 17 National Geographic Information Representatives (A-members), 5 Corporate Members (B-members) and 2 Other Organisations (C-members) involved in geographic information (GI).
In 2006, EUROGI opened its doors to include not only national GI Associations but also members from Industry, Academic institutions, Public Sector bodies, Not-for-Profit organisations, and interested Individuals.
Recently in 2009, EUROGI formally performed some required adjustments to the Membership structure in order to allow the active participation from the many GI-SDI stakeholders across Europe. EUROGI is now a more inclusive organisation.
