The workshop is foreseen to gather relevant stakeholders from the field of spatial planning from countries mostly from SEE (South Eastern Europe).
 
Throughout the workshop the following key issues will be addressed:

1. Overview of current situation of spatial planning and corresponding supporting data infrastructure
2. Identifying of existing needs in the region, possible implementation of best practices and future cooperation in the region
3. Meeting views of project, INSPIRE and ESPON stakeholders

The main objectives of the workshop will be:

• Country analysis in the region
• Contribution and suggestions from the region
• Exchanging best practices
• Promoting the project and its results in the region
• Fostering the cooperation in the region among spatial planning institutions
• Attracting stakeholders from the region to be involved in spatial planning and other forums
• Identifying gaps on spatial planning filed in the region that will consequence potential future projects
