SEMINAR Spatial Data Infrastructures (SDI), latest trends and research |

This Seminar is organised by the University of Melbourne (Australia), SPATIALIST (a SDI-research consortium existing of the universities K.U. Leuven and V.U. Brussels, Belgium) and supported by the Global Spatial Data Infrastructure (GSDI) Association. It will take place in Leuven, Belgium between 7 – 11 November 2011.
The main objectiveof this event is to enhance the knowledge about spatial data infrastructures (SDIs) viewed from multi-disciplinary perspectives (e.g. technology, law, sociology, economics and public administration science), to clarify the latest SDI-trends, and to set up a research agenda in the context of SDI.
The target group: SDI-practitioners and academics who want to enhance their knowledge about spatial data infrastructures and/or who are interested in the latest SDI-trends and research.
