The artcile states (...) EUROGI has been committed to the concept of the EURADIN project since the very beginning and even before supported the creation of an Address Forum.
Addresses are considered by EUROGI as a structural component for the development of SDI, having impacts across a wide range of fronts, from high level policy in many fields (environment, planning, transport, disaster management etc) to the day-to-day operations of innumerable organizations (retail firms, utility providers etc).
Increasingly through available web facilities to which the addresses are a crucial tool, the general
public is engaging directly with exploring GI. (...)
