ÞORBJÖRG KR. KJARTANSDOTTIR FROM ICELAND TOOK OFFICE AS NEW PRESIDENT OF GI NORDEN

Þorbjörg Kr. Kjartansdottir from Iceland was elected President of GI Norden at the organisation’s annual meeting held in Sollentuna, Sweden on May 27, 2009.

After serving as Vice President of GI Norden for the last four years, Þorbjörg Kr. Kjartansdottir has been elected President for the term 2009-2011.

Þorbjörg Kr. Kjartansdottir currently represents LISA, the National Geographic Information Representative from Iceland at EUROGI.

GI Norden is a member of EUROGI.
